We finally made it to the track and man what a dream come true.

We're not the fastest, but we aren't the slowest and we ARE one of the best looking out there. Actually the driver is the weakest link. I debuted at Mid Ohio with everyone there and I can't describe just how proud I was. Even the national head of tech was impressed. We won the race car class in the people's choice concours, I ran pretty fast, kept it off the wall, stayed out of the way of the leaders, and took the checkered flag. I doesn't get any better than that for a first time.

My hardworking crew chief Kevin.
I'm going to have to buy one of these awnings. This borrowed one sure was nice.
Wouldn't you know it - The first session under race conditions was in the rain. Good thing we finished a wiper system cause I used it.
Deb, Stacy, Lori, Harriett, Ruth, Montie, and Warren all trying to stay warm up on the Keyhole mound in the wet.
Here I am in a pack rounding the keyhole.
It sure was fun running with Warren and Matt during the D.E. portion of the weekend.
Finally the sun came out and I think I was lucky enough to have the biggest cheering section out there.
