MCATS is a non- profit organization in its seventh year of existance. MCATS continues to monitor the activities of all levels of government and the policies and actions of local industries, most particularly those of EQ,the Environmental Quality Company, and its parent company Envotech Limited Partners, as they effect the environment of Southeastern Michigan. We work in conjunction with other groups dedicated to the preservation of the natural world. MCATS focuses on issues of hazardous waste creation, management, and destruction; paying particular attention to toxin use reduction, the application of alternative resources and processes, and the sustainable use of resources.
